Refund Policy:

If a payment is deposited incorrectly, in excess, or if an author is dissatisfied with our services, a refund will be processed within 7 days, provided the author promptly notifies us. However, delays in the refund process may occur due to regional factors, and the publisher shall not be held liable for such delays.

Shipping & Delivery Policy:

Delivery charges for the orders placed through the website:

Within India, BIOTICA provides free delivery on all items if your total order amount is Rs 1000 or more. Otherwise Rs 60 is charged as delivery charges.

For shipments sent overseas, the shipping rates are calculated based on the product and the shipping location. In case, your order is for an item, which cannot be shipped to your country due to copyright and territorial restrictions, we shall cancel your order and process the refund accordingly.

In case of overseas transactions, we will process the refund for the amount received by us in Indian Rupees, the amount may be different from the one charged to you in your home currency depending upon the currency rates applicable at the time of order placement and processing the refund and also the policy of your credit card company for charges and refunds.

BIOTICA strives to ensure a smooth and timely delivery of all book orders. Orders are processed within 2-3 business days after payment confirmation. In case of delays due to high demand or unforeseen circumstances, we will notify you via email. For domestic shipping within India, delivery is expected within 5-7 business days after dispatch, while international shipping typically takes 10-21 business days, depending on the destination and customs clearance. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on location and order weight, and any applicable customs duties for international orders are the buyer’s responsibility. Once shipped, customers will receive a tracking number via email for real-time updates. While we make every effort to meet delivery timelines, external factors such as weather conditions, holidays, or customs delays may occasionally affect shipping times. 

Cancellation Policy:

For outright cancellations by you: For cancelling an ordered item or the entire order, contact us by phone and ask for Cancellations Dept. If you cancel your order, before the item has been shipped, we will refund the entire amount received by us as advance payment. In case of overseas transactions, we will process the refund for the amount received by us in Indian Rupees, the amount may be different from the one charged to you in your home currency depending upon the currency rates applicable at the time of order placement and processing the refund and also the policy of your credit card company for charges and refunds. Seek our cancellation number for reference and correspondence.

If the cancellation is after your product has been shipped, you can do one of the following:

1. If your product has been shipped but has not yet been delivered, contact Customer Support and inform them of the same.

2. If the product has already been delivered to you, it will be eligible for replacement, only in cases where there are defects found with the product.

Return & Exchange Policy:

Customer satisfaction is important to us. If you are unhappy with the products that we supply to you in any way, it can be returned or exchanged provided that it is in saleable condition. Subject to stock availability, we will exchange items that are returned to us within 7 days of being received by you. Please note that all extra postage costs incurred in an exchange are payable by you and return of the new item is subject to us receiving the extra postage costs incurred. Once this is received the new item will be posted immediately. If you wish to return your item for exchange these items need to be returned and reach us within 7 days of being received by you.

Returns of faulty items will only be accepted if the goods were faulty when delivered to you. The team at BIOTICA makes every effort to check your purchase thoroughly for any faults before sending them out to you. All items returned as faulty will be inspected on receipt and any items deemed to subject to fair use will not be accepted as faulty. We will replace a faulty item if a replacement is in stock and available.

Returns of faulty goods must be returned to us within 7 days of being received by you. In case we cannot offer you a replacement, you will have the choice of receiving a credit note or a refund to the value of the item at the time of purchase.

Returns & exchanges received outside the above time frames will not be accepted. For all returns & exchanges, you will be required to arrange and pay for the return of the products to us. Please be aware that international customs duties and sales taxes, if any, are not refunded for shipments outside India. We will only accept returns provided that the goods in question are returned by you and received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you.

If you do not return the goods delivered to you or do not pay the costs of delivery, we shall be entitled to deduct the direct costs of recovering the goods from the amount to be re-credited to you. For all returns & exchanges, send an email to [email protected], and ask for a Return Authorization Document.

We do not accept any returns without the mentioned Document. We highly recommend sending back with a track and trace number so it won't get lost in the mail!

Paper Withdrawal/Cancellation Policy:

The publisher maintains a strict withdrawal and cancellation policy to uphold the integrity, efficiency, and transparency of the publication process for articles, books and book chapters. Authors are expected to carefully review submission requirements and ensure their commitment to the publication process before submitting their work.

Authors note that MS cannot be withdrawn at any condition once galley proof is prepared

Privacy Policy:

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Paper Review Policy:

All submitted papers will undergo a Full Double-Blind Review Process, which may take a maximum of 2 weeks after submission. Once a paper is accepted, it cannot be withdrawn under any circumstances. We advise all authors not to submit the same article to multiple journals/publishers simultaneously. Please wait for the review report before proceeding elsewhere.
