Dr. Abhay K. Pandey is a Scientist (Mycology/Plant Pathology) at the Tocklai Tea Research Institute, Tea Research Association, India, exploring microbial biocontrol agents in the tea ecosystem and understanding their mode of action against fungal pathogens of tea crops. He is also working on Plant-Pathogen Interaction in tea crops. He obtained a Ph.D. on postharvest pathology of pigeon pea seeds from Kumaun University Nainital in 2012. He has worked for World Vegetable Center, South Asia and Ministry of Agriculture Government of India. He has authored more than 60 research papers and review articles in peer-reviewed journals. He is an Associate editor of Journal of Plant Disease and Protection (DPG, Germany), PLoS ONE, and BMC Research Notes for Mycology section, and Editorial board member and potential reviewer of many peer review journals. He is a member of several plant pathological societies and recently, he has awarded a Fellow of the Indian Botanical Society. Dr. Pandey is one of the American Phytopathological Society's APS Global Membership Recipient awardees. 

Dr. Pooja Singh did her MSc in Botany from BHU Varanasi, India and obtained her Phd Degree from DDU Gorakhpur University in postharvest preservation.She has more than 20 years of teaching and research experience. Her research activities encompass fundamental studies on postharvest loss and preservation of perishables, exploration and bioprospection of essential oil bearing plants and antimicrobial and antioxidant activities of essential oils. She has also worked on mushroom biodiversity of natural forests of the terai region of Northern India. Currently her group is working on developing ecofriendly preservatives from compounds derived from plants. She has guided five PhD students and has supervised several dissertations. She has published more than 70 research papers in her area of expertise and is currently working as Professor of Botany at DDU Gorakhpur University, India.
