Abstract
Genome editing technology has revolutionized research in biology and allied fields through the novel ability to precisely edit the genomes of living organisms. In the last decade, various genome editing technologies have developed like ZNF, TALEN, and CRISPR for genome editing. The CRISPR/Cas9 system has been widely used in genome editing due to its high efficiency, ease of use, and accuracy. Here we have discussed the CRISPR/Cas technology in detail with its application in crop health management under biotic and abiotic stress conditions
